For more than a quarter of a century, people who want to feel good about themselves have turned to Patti's.

Patti's is open Monday through Saturday, from 9 AM until the last appointment. Walk-ins are welcome and gift certificates and holiday packages are available.

The sign outside the shop on Washburn Street in Decatur may say Patti's Hair Parlor, but the minute you walk through the front door, you realize it is so much more.

In addition to nine stylists who offer a wide range of specialties for all ages, Patti's is also a great place to get a manicure or pedicure, permanent cosmetics, electrolysis, or facial. You can order Avon products, relax and read the daily Update, get caught up on the latest happenings in the community and support a number of worthwhile causes. Owner Patti Gage jokes that she and her staff provide therapy at no charge.

Because everyone's life is hectic, whether those employed full-time, stay-at-home moms, students or retirees, the Patti's staff makes every effort to put each client at ease and provide them with a relaxing experience. Call it pampering, call it "me time," whatever you want, what Patti's provides is an experience not available anywhere else.

Continuing education is important to Patti and her staff. That's why they are constantly learning new techniques and styles and they're not afraid to try out what they have learned.
